Members of St. Titus Parish Community enjoy sharing time together whether at a spiritual event or at social occasions. Our parish offers many such opportunities which help form a faithful community of Christ's disciples. They are called, empowered, motivated, and dedicated to bringing Christ, and His work of salvation to our parish and personal lives, families, and our communities, welcoming all parish members through social and religious activities to the table of Christ.
St. Titus is honored to be the home church for the Sacred Liturgy, for following beloved saints. Over the years these celebrations have become an integral part of our parish community. St. Titus hosts various social and religious parish activities throughout the year.
A 7th century Irish monk, St. Cataldo was a student at the monastic school of Lismore, Waterford under Saint Carthage, where later he became a teacher there, and then headmaster.
As a pilgrim to the Holy Land, on his way home a storm shipwrecked him in Taranto, Italy. As he recovered, his holiness was such that he was chosen by the people to be their bishop. He lived the rest of his life in the region, teaching and caring for his parishioners.
St. Cataldo is an intercessor before the Lord for persons with visual impairments, epilepsy, and paralysis.
His feast day is May 10th.
The St. Anthony Congregation was instituted in 1932 at St. Joseph Church in West Aliquippa, PA. When St. Joseph Church closed its doors in 1992 and merged with St. Titus Parish, the congregation did not die, but continued its objective to promote the love of God and devotion to its patron St. Anthony of Padua.
The St. Anthony Congregation is a charitable, non-profit organization that is excited about the newly-erected St. Anthony Center, where all are welcome to join in our various activities. Mass is celebrated for our membership at St. Titus Church in Aliquippa, PA each year in June. The officers of the congregation work diligently to continue the efforts of this organization.
Countless miracles have occurred through the intercession St. Anthony of Padua, so much so that he is known as the Wonder Worker as well as the 'Finder of Lost Items'. In 1946, St. Anthony has been declared a Doctor of the Church. His feast day is June 13th
