The mission of social apostolates is to:
The purpose of this apostolate is to provide support to members of St. Titus Parish who are experiencing grief through the death of a loved one. The Church calls each member of Christ's Body to participate in the offering of consolation: to care for the dying, to pray for the dead, and to comfort all who mourn. Our Lord is the example of comfort and support to the grieving.
At this time our Bereavement Apostolate is through Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Please contact their parish office at 724.375.7626.
The focus of this group is on the sanctity of human life and the many threats to human life in the modern world. Members provide education concerning the dignity of human life and the responsibility of society to protect all of society. Membership is open to all parishioners.
If you wish to join this committee, contact Mary Volitch at 724.495.7919.
The prison apostolate is under the direction of Deacon Joseph N. Basko. This is a volunteer-based apostolate that responds to the spiritual needs of those who are incarcerated in the Beaver County Jail System. It assures that spiritual support is provided on a regular basis.
If you wish to volunteer for this very worthwhile and special activity, please call Deacon Joseph N. Basko at 724.775.6363.
