Christian Mothers does not exist to just unite women in prayer, but to also educate and inspire women in the practice of Catholic virtue. Through Catholic instruction at regular meetings, members strive to encourage the practice and show the importance of being a Catholic woman and to foster zeal for the Faith. The organization's aim is to show members a way to attain not only personal sanctification and the sanctification of their families and friends, but to help members to become useful contributors to society and better ensure their temporal as well as eternal welfare. Every woman is called to spiritual motherhood. Through devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows and various activities, the Christian Mothers organization strives to assist the pastor and the enire parish community in upholding Catholic Christian values by promoting the spiritual growth of individuals and families, by encouraging one another, and by practicing the virtues as well as offering prayers. If you are interested in taking part, please contact the Parish Adminstrative Office at 724.775.6363 ext. 101.
